- Is it friday yet? - Friday, May 28, 2004 ...well hell, I think it is! Got off early from work today, and it was a good thing because I almost had 20 kids strung from the ceiling. Went to my Starbucks. Nate made me a killer 2 pump caramel frappacino (I mean, so sweet I'm still coming down off the high) and I got some work done on the laptop. I've been getting my room ready for painting, it's SO in need of a fresh change. I was frantic about town on thursday, having to beat the traffic to make it over to ARC to sign up for summer classes. Well, it never fails for me to hit the bandwagon just as it's speeding off...classes were full. So, plan B kicked in, and I signed up for my computer science courses for the fall. In between starting/running my own business and looking for a new job, I know I can handle a few classes. I just have to bite the bullet this semester, since for God sake I'm not getting any younger. I'm also hoping to get out of the house this weekend, I really want to kick it around San Francisco this weekend, that's still a possible. Need some breathing room. Time to think. For some summer reading, I went to B&N and picked up Four Past Midnight, a series collection of novels by Stephen King including Secret Window, which I've been dying to read. I'm a huge fan of mystery/suspense novels, and it's been a while since I last read his collections. *sigh* Can I just say, thank GOD it's friday.
