- - Tuesday, December 23, 2003 Rushed Holiday Update DUDE. I've never been so busy in my entire natural life. Just a few quick updates/shoutouts... [+] MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my short track girls that I miss so much, you know who you be. [+] Thank you, Joanna, for the beautiful Christmas card. Whatcho doin' trying to make me cry during the holidays? Your card will be coming to you, late of course, since I'm so notoriously...well...late. [+] I survived my church christmas play, and my solo actually made its way out of my mouth. Yes, that's correct, Ape was held at candy cane-point to sing, but it was all worth it to make everyone smile. [+] Saw LOTR: Return of the King today and almost stood up to give the large century theater big screen a standing ovation. What a freakin' off the hook movie. Blew the first two out the water. [+] I'm never last-minute christmas shopping ever again. And that goes double when you're spending money you don't have. I've been to about 30 stores, and I've been bit twice, shoved a few thousand times, almost had my right shoulder taken clean off, and still haven't regained full vision in my right eye. And that was just getting out of the parking lots, people. All I want for christmas is a new job. [+] It's my 2nd christmas without one of the most important women in my life, my grandmother. She passed away November 26, 2001, and it's been hitting me in waves this month. Everything about the holidays reminds me of her, but keeping busy has kept my mind off the pain, for now. [+] Lastly, Molla & Beats, hoping you guys are doing ok. Thinkin' about you this holiday. I'm going to rest tomorrow, enjoy a traditional baking day with family and friends, and do my best to block out the "christmas noise" and cherish the people that make christmas special.
