Have you seen the movie Multiplicity? Yeah, I wish.

It's the pressure cooker known as the Holiday Season. I'm trying to take it all in stride, and hopefully before it's too late realize that no where is the christmas spirit riddled in the midst of a mad pushing match to the check out counter of JC Penny's. I swear I almost lost an eye going into Bath & Body Works the other day. I'm slowly learning the holiday "30 second rule". You have approx. 30 seconds to decide what you want, grab it with haste, and haul ass to the check out counter before you start entertaining the idea of Hmm, I should get some of this for me.... Why is it I only understand what I truly need in the pursuit of buying for other people.

Sheesh.

I have much to accomplish this week, and what's funny is through all the bustle I find much solace in updating/building my short track sites. No mistaking, it's a lot of hard work, but I notice I find it easier to give my all to projects that I really believe in. Between work, hoilday baking for the umpteen relatives I have, finishing my over-procrastinated christmas shopping, and perfecting (attempting) the song I'll be singing in my church christmas drama, I'll find time just for me.

And that will most likely be spent at my favorite Starbucks on the corner of Truxel Rd. & Landing Dr., where everyone knows your name and most importantly, whether you like whip or no whip frappacinos. It's the only place I can update the sites in peace. Plus, the smell of coffee beans makes me type faster...and I've also discovered that drinking beverages with coffee beans makes me type A LOT faster.

I should really think about putting "coffee & Advil" on the credits section of these websites.

Getting back to Starbucks, I have "my spot", the circular table in the corner of the store (next to the wall outlet, lol) that has just enough room for my laptop, a pumpkin scone, and a peppermint mocha frappacino w/ whip cream and 4 tons of red sprinkles.

Those sprinkles put the "happy" in my hoildays, no doubt.

Oh, and this is out of the blue, but I just checked the stats for Bridie's site, and it's received 41, 319 hits. HOLY SHORT TRACK! That's nuts! It's only been up for barely 2 weeks. Brig, apparently you da Gurl! ;)
