- - Sunday, September 21, 2003 Pirates of the WonderBlog: The Curse of the %&#@* Server Well, I came home to find that my site[s] are back in running order. So let's just go on our merry way pretending like nothing ever happened, ok? Ok. I can't see why I'm still awake. what a night. I just got back from the 2003 Black Tie Ball, in Auburn, CA hosted by 101.1 and Y92.5. The event was dancing, a bunch of bands, food, and PLENTY of oddly dressed individuals. Kind of like a Mardi Graw, of course without all the flashing. My friends and I danced the night away to the 80's cover band "Tainted Love" (which kicked some major ass, by the way) and also had the pleasure of meeting Paul and Phil from the Morning Show on Y92. Really sweet guys, I grew up listening to them on the radio, so what a trip it was to chat it up with them. Lesson Learned: Never drink margaritas on an empty stomach. My head's been swimmy all night. Alliiiiiight, as soon as I stop seeing double, I'll successfully locate my bed...and lay in it.
