Preschool Wars : Monday Strikes Back
It never fails to amaze me that no matter how long I work with the preschoolers during the day, I always hobble in the door feeling as though I've been broad-sided by a delivery truck. My job is no walk through Central Park, that's for sure. I do believe I've taken at least 5 liters of elmer's glue out of my hair and from under my nails today.
The hardest part about getting through the work weeks is having one thing on the brain: Short Track. I'm so preoccupied with the trip to Marquette, I'm having dreams of being chased by media credential badges, almost running traffic lights because of daydreams involving the debate "Wonder what Skinsuit Apolo will be wearing?", and the worst of all...going to the Roseville Ice Arena to stop the cravings.
It's that gut-wrenching time when MQT is so far, but yet so close.
This is going to be a long week.
