- Summer Time *al la Fresh Prince* - Wednesday, June 01, 2005 Recovering from the awesome birthday weekend I had in the land of Fresno/Visalia, CA. All I wanted for my birthday, I got - I just love spending time with special people in my life, that's all the present I ever need. Muchas Gracias to the almighty Lupes for being my road trip buddy this past weekend. Girl, everything was more than I could have asked for - Love you, Lupita. So, here's what the weekend included: a) A Wat Special at my favorite sushi place in the world, Yoshinos. Morro Bay, CA b) (Hit the road on what Lupes and I affectionately called our "Ghetto-way" road trip to Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, and Three Rivers, CA (pictures to come). We had the best clam chowder and ran the crowds off the beach. c) Had the only birthday cake that should be allowed by law, Tres Leches, which was mucho yummy. ...alas, the only thing that was missing from my day was more buddies: Molly, Joanna, Lucinda, Melinda, Anita, Tiasha, Janie, Beata and many more *if I forgot you, it's because I'm getting old* Everytime I'm with these girls, it makes every event special. And I can't forget a special shoutout to da coolest skater girls/bois, Bridie, Allison, & Apolo - thank you all for everything! Now, I'm just happy to be staring a soon-2-b kick ass summer right in the face. I just hope I don't melt before I get to it.
