Hmm, Can I have some Bibby wit dat?
My line of work is SO funny during this time of year, and ONLY during this time. Summer's coming, and school's almost out. Teacher's just turn on the "I don't give a rat's ass" mentality, and the days are pretty stress-free. The only pressing thing before this school year is out is renewing my TB scan. So I'll spend Monday in a doctor's office being poked (hopefully not proded).
Two of my kids went home with lice today, and of course that always freaks out the staff. Everyone's subconsciously itching for no reason. Love the school nurse and her helping paranoid staff, I'm good to go ;)
Went with the 'rents to the Chilli's on Howe & Arden, and as we walked down the hallway to be seated, I spot a acceptionally bald(acceptionaly HOT) guy eating with what appeared to be family and friends. He finished a bite of food, and looked up - lo and behold, it's Mike Bibby. Of course, I try to act like I don't even see him. I've been to a lot of King's games, but never had the chance to see Mike that up close. *phew* Hot boy, that's all I can say. We were seated across the way from his table, and I watched as he packed up his "crew" (consisting of a few kids as well) and headed out. A little girl and her family were sitting by the walkway to the exit, and as Bibby walked out, the girl pops her head over the partision and squeeks, "Mr. Bibby, can I please have your autograph?".
He gets a big smile, leans over and signs her Chilli's placemat! His peeps were probably already in the car waiting, but even though he was so non-chalaunt about being there, someone was bound to ask. He's really not that large in person, you'd never know he played b-ball looking at him. But I LOVE me some Bibby, what a fox ;)
Ok, back home and now - to the art table. Again.
