- - Sunday, May 11, 2003 Showin' the mom some love Had such a great time today, spoiling the Mom, tryin' to give back a little of the 20+ years she's put into me. The older I get, the more my mother and I understand each other, and get really freaked when it seems like looking at each other is like looking into a mirror. Our lives paralell in so many ways and our relationship has undergone some major "morphing". She's been my best friend, my cheerleader, my verbal punching bag at times lol, but it's always comfortable to know that no matter how old I get, she's always Mommy to me. Well, Apey is getting excited that summer is almost here! I'm so beside myself on how much this year has just flown by, but it's been the most incredible to date. Another insanely beautiful day outside, need to get some jogging in before tonight's Kings game. I swear, those mofo's better kick some Maverick ass...
