- - Sunday, May 04, 2003 When Family Invades This weekend was my uncle's 45th birthday, and almost all of my mother's 6 siblings came, with all my younger cousins in toe. It was great to see everyone, since we're all spread throughout Sac and don't see much of each other. Everytime my mother's side of the family gets in one room, look out. LOL, they're loud and proud and spent most of the night laughing...a lively bunch we can be! I've been working on my resume, can't wait to get a new job. I'm so ready to change fields, and work full time doing something with computers. I'm on this damn thing 90% of the time, mind as well get a pay check for it. Plus, I've been looking for some places to live here in North Sacramento, even in Colorado Springs. Prices are dirt-cheap over there, and I can get twice the size what I'd find in Sac. It's all a matter of where the work is, but I honesty wouldn't mind living in another state for a while. I'm ready for an adventure, and just plain need a change of scenary. It would actually liberate me, in a way, to move away from all that I consider comfortable here in Sacramento. Exciting things feel like they're just around the corner, it's my time to prepare.
