- - Thursday, May 06, 2004 Ode to a Polak: Hope you read this Today is a special someone's birthday, someone that I'm very happy to call friend. I found out in the nick of time that today was the day, and since I can't be there to sing Happy Birthday in my most annoying voice ever, I wanted to make this post for her. I will admit, when I first met you in SLC waaaaaaay back in Feb 2003, you scared the shit outta me. You're one tough cookie, and from a glance you come off as a very beautiful woman that could snap your neck with the blunt end of her cigarette lighter. However, I'm so glad I got to know you better, and discover what a pile of mush you can really be. You're strong, have a wicked sense of humor, and for me you've given lots of laughs and encouragement that I'll always appreciate. I know public mush ain't your thing, but that's all I got, toots. That, and nothing but great things to say about 'cha. I hope your birthday is everything you hoped for, and a whole lot more.
