Ok, today was quite productive. I got a lot done, running around all over town, and my stop at the post office was more than eventful. I was waiting in line and on my cell phone, and as I turn around, who do I see coming down the hall? Ugh, an old ex-friend from high school that I haven't seen in about 3 years. She's one of those drama-queen types (with a temper to match) that I could never stomach for too long, and eventually just had to cut off our friendship, because she was letting her issues suck me dry.

I had a baseball cap on, so I don't know if she recognized me. I did my business at the post office, and at the front desk, I could see her look over and take a quick look at me. All I could think of was HOLY crap, I want outta here. But she's the type that would bumrush me with "HEY, how are you?"s, so maybe she didn't know it was me. I made a b-line outta there, and then got to my car and started cracking up. Why do I always run into the people that I swore I'd be happy if I never saw again? Lord knows if she would have said Hi to me, I'd BS my way through it and be nice - that's me, Miss Non-Confrontational.

Well, I was looking through my photos from Colorado, and got a little sad - I miss that place, dammit! Unbelievably beautiful scenary (a perfect pair to the Unbelievably beautiful man we came there to see!), and the air was so crisp, did wonders for my sinus-sufferin' ass, ugh. Take a look at this place, if you go, you'll be hooked....

A shot of the amazing Broadmoore Hotel in Colorado Springs. With a man-made pond and the mountains in the background, this place was eye-candy to the 10th power! The view from the road was so mind-blowing, we had to stop the car and take a shot. This is the road that winds through a section in CO springs called Garden Of the Gods Me and the Moll-ster strikin' a pose at the GOTG - if only we had some white chalk to put Apolo's name on that stone...
A shot of the mountains we saw on our drive from Denver to CO springs. This may have been 20 miles outside Denver, and it was a complete winter wonderland. It was too beautiful, worthy of a second shot! The camera doesn't come close to doing this view justice. We drove 50miles to CO springs, and most of it was this gorgeous landscape. Listening to NKOTB on this drive in the car was the perfect mix of Beautiful & Insanity LOL
